Alas, mommy was both over prepared (i.e., a rain storm long passed) and under prepared (i.e., impending water play) for what was to come. It's been half a lifetime since the Market Square water fountains spewed their terrible temptation for toddlers. And, today they were impossibly irresistible for Camille --all mommy could do was drape her in a raincoat before the inevitable full immersion.
[Notice the abandoned stroller and (nearly kidnapped) baby-doll].
Here is Camille commenting, via ASL, on the hat worn by another tempted toddler (whose good mother at least managed to save her footwear from disaster!).

Camille, you brought such pleasure to me today as I looked at you at the fountain. You are so beautiful. Love, Aunt Patricia
