We visited Stratford-upon-Avon. We saw Shakespeare's birthplace, including the rooms he may have been born in and where he may have slept, and the place where he retired. We watched a short performance by two actors. The kids had learned part of Macbeth's soliloquy over the summer which they recited before we went and while we were there.... And afterwards we had some delicious ice cream and milkshakes.
